* I went to the store yesterday to get this deal and was sad to figure out that Fry's programmed their computers to adjust the coupons to the price of the product, so you do not get overage. Sad...but they toothpaste was still free so I cannot really complain!

I have found that frys doeesnt do overage...have you ever had them do it? Do you know if any stores in the valley do overage? Thanks for all the great stuff!
ReplyDeleteI have had them do it in the past, but now that I really think about it, they were all with Mega Event Saving items. This was probably because the $ amount savings for mega event items does not come off each item, but instead it is taken off the transaction at the end. So the computer would have no way of knowing that the coupon value was more than the item in the end.
ReplyDeleteTo answer your other question, Walmart's coupon policy does state that they WILL give overage! Which is a great thing, but since they do not double coupons it will probably be a rare thing.
